Now, imagine that you become friends with this unfortunate soul. Could you describe what it's like to eat a peanut butter sandwich or have fresh, hot from the oven, peanut butter cookies with a glass of milk? No matter how good your descriptive powers, what you said would fall short of the reality of personal experience. That is also the problem that we run into when trying to share our spiritual experiences to someone who has never tasted the goodness of God.
Sometimes words only do a disservice, no matter how grand they are, and fall short. Today, let us pray for the grace to live out the principles of spiritual freedom in such a way that draws others to follow us to the free banquet table of the King. Lord, may Your grace make it possible for us to live so faithfully, consistently and fully for You that Your peace, joy and love become such a part of our lives that Your truth,, power,, glory and love is undeniable, even if indescribable.
