Unshackled Moments ~ November 8 ~ Made To Worship

All of creation was made for the pleasure of God and to bring Him glory. Even mankind. We were made to worship God. It is in living a life of worship that we will find ourselves in a state of contentment and fulfillment. But  that is no longer our natural default. Before the fall, two people were able to worship as they were created to worship. But after the fall man lost his original glory and instinct for this purpose. The rest of creation still declares the glory of God with its presence and nature. The flowers, the changing colors of the trees, the stars in the sky and the deer in the field all show His wonder and glory as they were meant to. Through grace we can come back to the place that we were meant to be and worship Him with all that we are. Our very lives can be a declaration of His glory, power and love. Every breath can be an act of worship, and when we are in that place of glory reflection, we are truly free to be all that we were created to be.
