Unshackled Moments ~ March 23 ~ Desert Journeys

Lent is winding down, and one of the things abundantly clear to me is how unworthy I am to have any kind of relationship with my Creator, to be called to or able to minister in any way, and that I don't know why God loves me so much. Maybe you feel the same way. If not, you will. Everyone who takes an honest evaluation of themselves and the great price Christ paid comes to that place sooner or later. But no matter how unworthy we may feel, Jesus says we were everything, even dying for.

Sometimes there are dry spells, even outright droughts. It is hard to give because we don't feel like we're even getting enough for ourselves. God can feel so far away, and it may become hard to believe that the Spirit is ever going to send down the rain again or that dawn will ever come. But what we feel isn't always true or real, and while the pain and the droughts may feel like they're killing us, they serve to make us thirsty for a drink of the Living Water and time with the Comforter. Today let us push in and pray for rain rather than cursing the drought. Let us seek the Comforter and give thanks that God says we are worth it and has promised to never leave us orphaned, no matter how it feels.

Unshackled Life Ministries is grateful for every person that reads the daily Unshackled Moments and or listens to the messages. I want to thank those who have clicked "like" on something that blessed or ministered to them. It is encouraging to know that God is using this ministry to help and bless others. Please remember that if God used something from this ministry to help, encourage or bless you, it could also bless someone else. Would you help get the devotions to more people by sharing the Moments and messages that you read or listen to? Hitting the share button instead of or in addition to the like button will help us reach more people with the good news of freedom and the encouragement to live an Unshackled Life. Thank you and God bless.
